Three pans covers most of what a domestic kitchen does: a ten-inch skillet for searing, a three-quart saucier for sauces and grains, and an eight-quart stockpot for pasta, stock and batches. All five-ply clad with a 2.6 mm aluminium core bonded to the rim rather than a disc on the base.
That last point is what separates this from most sets at this price. A disc-base pan has a hot ring at the bottom and cold walls; a fully clad one cooks with its whole body, which is why a reduction in the saucier does not burn at the waterline. Lids for the saucier and stockpot. Induction ready, oven-safe to 260°C. About $351 bought separately.
